Excitement I could do without

Published by yinepusayi at 4:57 am under Uncategorized Edit This

I’m so tired of this. Big, burly, angry, violent sounding black man screaming and swearing loud enough fit to wake the dead at his very small and scared, pleading sounding girlfriend just because she bought shoes on a credit card. What the fuck?!? I was trying to relax and watch some Buffy episodes that I had gotten via Netflix, but I couldn’t ignore what was going on outside. I pick up Eris (my cell phone) to dial the police and that’s when I hear the breaking glass. Voodoo was sitting on my partner’s desk which is near the basement window that faces the street (right where the argument was going on), and I could have sworn I saw some glass bounce in thru the very small window opening. Either way Voodoo took off running. Roomie and I both ended up calling the police. Police came and first yelled at the drunk guy in 2 because he opened his door and started smarting off to the cops. The roomie and I did find it humorous when one cop straight told the drunk guy that if he didn’t shut up, go back in his house and not come out again that he was going to be hauled off to jail. I really wish he had smarted off again. No one wants him here, even the ones he thinks are his so-called friends. I am glad that Voodoo is ok though. He finally came out of his hiding place from under the bed about an hour or so ago. Although now I’m unable to sleep, unlike my roomie who’s gone to bed and my partner who slept thru the whole thing. Guess that means more Buffy episodes to watch.

Sure glad to hear that nobody at your place was hurt. I’d suggest being really careful to try & find that glass you thought you saw; glass cuts are nasty!

Still checking in on you, as promised.
    Is everyone safe?
